Shipping Perishable Gift Baskets

Our gift baskets often include perishable items such as cheese and meats. To ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, we follow strict shipping guidelines:

  • Cold Climates (Fall/Winter/Early Spring): Orders ship Monday through Friday. Cooler weather allows safe transit throughout the week.
  • Warm Climates (Spring/Summer or destinations with high temperatures): Orders ship Monday through Wednesday only to prevent weekend delays and ensure products arrive fresh.
  • West of the Mississippi River: Due to longer transit times, all orders ship via UPS 3-Day Select or faster to guarantee safe delivery of perishable contents.

We pack each gift basket carefully with insulation and cold packs to ensure products are fresh.

Order Processing

  • Orders are generally processed within 1-2 business days.
  • Orders placed after Wednesday (for warm climate destinations) will ship the following Monday to prevent weekend transit delays.
  • Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Delivery Guarantee

We guarantee that all perishable products will arrive in good condition to the shipping address provided, provided that:

  1. Someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
  2. The shipping address is correct and complete at the time of order.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or carrier disruptions beyond our control (weather events, natural disasters, etc.).

Shipping Carriers & Rates

We primarily ship via UPS. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and delivery location.

  • Standard UPS Ground (cold climates, non-perishables, nearby destinations).
  • UPS 3-Day Select (all destinations west of the Mississippi River).
  • UPS 2-Day Air or Next Day Air (recommended during warm weather or for time-sensitive orders).

Restrictions

  • We currently ship within the continental United States only.
  • We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
  • Some states may restrict shipping of perishable products due to agricultural regulations. We will contact you if your order is affected.
